Herpes Awareness Day 2024: Rally for Change

Herpes is spreading worldwide without public health intervention.
Nearly 30% of children in America have a form of HSV by age 5.
Nearly half of Black Women in America have genital herpes.
Herpes is not benign.
WE NEED CHANGE NOW!
Scientific evidence shows some living with herpes will experience recurrent and painful symptoms. Herpes impacts brain health. In rare instances, people living with herpes may develop encephalitis, meningitis or other neurological disorders. Herpes is a widely recognized driver of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Every day there is more evidence that Herpes is a contributing factor to Alzheimer’s Disease.
While there is some progress being made (thank you advocates!) we need to expedite an adequate public health response, and urgently. Please join Herpes Cure Advocacy to celebrate advocacy wins, goals for the future and potential paths for change.
GUEST SPEAKERS WANTED! Would you like to share your vision for change? Why do you rally for a cure? If you want to share your experience or ideas for advocacy please email us: info@herpescureadvocacy.com
