1. White House Task Force for Herpes

In July 2023, Herpes Cure Advocacy organized a group letter asking President Biden for a White House task force to address Herpes Simplex Virus with a strategic and coordinated effort.

Again on September 29, Herpes Cure Advocacy asked PACHA for their support to bring this initiative to the White House.

Today, we’re asking PACHA Board Chair Marlene McNeese to support the Herpes Cure Advocacy request for a federal task force!

2. 50 State Challenge UPDATE

Do you live in CT, WI, or elsewhere in the US and want to use your voice for change? Join us to participate in the 50 State Challenge! Herpes Cure Advocacy is organizing to collaborate with Herpes Advocates in all 50 States. 

We have 25 states covered and have just 25 more to go. We need you and your voice to help continue the momentum for change in Washington DC. Patients, professionals, scientists, HCPs, private industry, etc. are all welcome to answer the roll call. 

We need advocates in the following states: Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Idaho, Maine Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Wyoming.
