AlzPI and PCOM Present: Microbes & Alzheimer’s: Bridging Silos to Accelerate Innovation
July 27, 2024 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EDT
A great opportunity for advocates to attend (virtually or in person) and raise questions regarding HSV and it’s impact on the brain. This research area of infection and its impact on the brain is so critical for HCA to continue to explore and elevate.
Dr. Ruth Itzhaki will be presenting on how “repetitive concussive injury, like cumulative infections, causes Alzheimer’s disease-like phenotypes via reactivation of HSV-1 in a 3D human brain tissue model”.
