This past week, Herpes Cure Advocacy attended the STI Engage Conference in Washington D.C! It was a great turnout and we were able to connect with a lot of individuals and spread the word about Herpes Cure Advocacy.
It was great to see HSV being an included topic at this years conference! Herpes was included in the workshop about federal action for STI’s; the NIH listening session, and was mentioned during the Tuesday lunch plenary!
Check out the clip below as Dr. Klausner, who is on the Medical Advisory Board for our organization, mentions Herpes Cure Advocacy during the lunch plenary. The plenary consisted of 100’s of STD clinicians and sexual health industry people.
It was apparent from the various attendees that visited our booth that patients and providers need and want HSV resources! Majority of the people we spoke with didn’t know about Herpes Cure Advocacy or our mission but all were excited that our organization exists.
We need to continue spreading awareness! Herpes Cure Advocacy is here to help educate providers and patients and it’s import to get our messaging out there. As a member, you can help spread the word!
