Non-Profit Manager (Part time)
$40-55 per hour/ negotiable
JOB SUMMARY: Provides leadership, strategic and management support to a national non-profit organization for Herpes cure and advocacy 10-20 hours/ week
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- The Manager will collaborate with the board of directors and committee chairs to ensure successful delivery of the organization’s strategic and operational goals
- The Manager will spearhead philanthropic initiatives, develop and manage community partnerships, open doors to new collaborations, and raise the visibility of the organization regionally, nationally, and internationally.
- Assist with fundraising initiatives through corporations, individuals, and foundations
- Assists in financial and operational management of the organization.
- Plans and executes events
- Develops supportive materials for policy, fundraising/development or marketing/ communications
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
REQUIREMENTS:
- Leading candidates will have experience in development, finance, operations, relationship management, and strategic planning. The successful candidate must have a passion for public health, infectious disease, or sexual health and be able to articulate its importance in today’s world to inspire participation in the organization’s growth and successes.
- Knowledge and experience with similar public health or pharmaceutical entities or initiatives
- Knowledge and experience with marketing/communications tools and technologies including management and updates to website, social media and presentations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health or management-related field
- Minimum Experience: 2 Years
- Preferred Education: Master’s Degree: Administration, Public Health or similar
SKILLS:
- Meeting platforms including Zoom, MS Teams, Google meet
- Marketing and Social Media Tools:
- Website: Management of WordPress, Squarespace, Other
- Email: Mailchimp, Direct Response, Mailerlite
- Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, Hootsuite
- Graphic Design: Canva, InDesign, etc. (preferred)
- Google Analytics (preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite
